  • NEW DATE FOR EXAM III. April 16, 2002 at 7:00 pm in PS101, PS103 and PS110. I have changed the date of our exam III to April 16th because I will be out of town Friday, April 5th (after our class) through Monday, April 8th to attend the American Chemical Society meeting in Orlando, Florida. I do not want to be absent that much prior to an exam so I changed the date. We will have a Help Session on Sunday, April 14th at 7:00 pm in PS141.

  • The laboratory experiment and information for laboratory during the week of March 25, 2002 is now available at the laboratory link.

  • Grades are up! The class average on Exam II is 59.4. The overall average of the class is 65.8% which is fantastic. The average I'm shooting for is 65%. The high was a 93. Congratulations to James Layton. He is a repeat offender!

  • Here are some practice problems that you can try. One set is used to determine whether a substance is polar or nonpolar, the other set asks for the type of intermolecular attractive forces that occur in a substance. Enter you Secret Identification number and lab section to practice. Send me an e-mail and tell me if you would like more problems like these.

  • A draft TA tutoring schedule is now available at the Free Tutoring link.
