The PLE for Monday, March
11, 2002 is ready.
Some lecture notes for Monday
and Wednesday's lectures are available. Please note I am still working on
these notes. I have to complete the last experiment we discussed in class
on Wednesday, March 6, 2002.
Grades are up! The class
average on Exam II is 59.4. The overall average of the class is 65.8% which
is fantastic. The average I'm shooting for is 65%. The high was a 93. Congratulations
to James Layton. He is a repeat offender!
Here are some practice
problems that you can try. One set is used to determine whether a substance
is polar or nonpolar, the other set asks for the type of intermolecular
attractive forces that occur in a substance. Enter you Secret Identification
number and lab section to practice. Send me an e-mail and tell me if you
would like more problems like these.
This week you will complete
laboratory for Exp #5: Balance
or Completion: Equilibrium. Check out the laboratory link for important
information about this experiment.
A draft TA tutoring schedule is now available at the Free Tutoring link.
Here is a list of the laboratory sections
