  • New InClass Problem Set which you will work on with a partner in discussion this week. Be sure to bring your textbook and calculator to laboratory this week.
  • If you can not make class (for whatever reason) when a Problem Set is due I will accept it if you mail it and the postmark is the day the problem set is due or earlier. You are also welcome to FAX (405-744-6007), but that can be expensive.
  • In laboratory during the Week of January 23 - 27, 2000 you will do Experiment #1: The Measurement of Matter. Be sure to read the laboratory experiment before coming to lab this week.
  • Need a periodic table? Check the Database link. I recommend the WebElements Periodic Table.
  • The Chemistry Department offers free tutoring in PS023. For a tentative schedule go to the Free Tutoring link. The tutoring will begin Monday, January 17, 2000. Names in red are our TA's and they will know more about what is happening in our class. TA names in blue have taught 1215 with me before.
  • Welcome to CHEM 1215. In order to post grade information (scores on problem sets, laboratory's and exams) I need your permission. Go the SID#/Name link and enter a number, name or combination unique to you. I will post grade information using your SID# or SIDName. There are some additional questions that I would like you to answer for some EXTRA CREDIT.
