is ready. Go to the PreLecture link. Be sure to enter your name, SID (Secret
identification name/number) and your lab section. Answer as many of the questions
as you can. I am NOT grading the PLEs so it is OK if the answer is not correct.
I gain valuable information from the wrong answers, so it is OK to answer
each question with the response you believe to be correct. thank you. See
you in class.
I
have to be in Norman most of the day on Tuesday. I am working on a project
with Dr. Michael Abraham in the Chemistry Department there. If you have questions
send an e-mail. I should return by 7:00 pm Tuesday evening and I will be around
in my office then.
If you did
not get a copy of PS1 in lecture on Monday, I have posted Problem Set #1 at
the Problem Set link on our Web site. To access the file you will need a version
of Adobe Acrobate Reader. If you need that reader go to the Plugins link on
our Web site.
Things to memorize;
names and symbols of the first 20 elements and 20 common elements;
the formula and phase of all of the elements in the periodic table;
the common prefixes for SI units;
