Chapter 11: Introduction to Modern Atomic Theory

The freqency of a sample of light with a wavelength of 2500 nm is 1.20 x 1014 sec-1 (hertz). This is a large number, this number represents the number of crests of a wave which pass a point in space per second. This is a very large number.

The calculation demonstrated on this video is similar to the calculations you must do on PS14.2 and PS14.3.
